Are you an obsessive snacker? Okay, so you might be asking yourself; "what in the world is an obsessive snacker?" Well, some of us eat even when we're not hungry. You could call this obsessive snacking. We like to snack because we're bored and the food tastes good. While this is a basic human habit, it's not entirely healthy. The biggest problem lies within the food itself. These treats we're consuming aren't generally healthy for us. The cure? Find some healthy treats. Yes, we all need to take a second look at our obsessive snacking habits and either kick the habit completely, or find some healthy treats to replace the salty, sugary and/or fatty ones.

What type of snacks and treats do you eat regularly? I must confess that my son is a regular snacker. However, I try to stay one step ahead of his habit. Instead of letting him consume any and all treats he can get his grubby little hands on, I make it a point to set out a variety of healthy treats. Some examples are:

I know my son really likes the healthy treats because he chooses grapes over cookies at the supermarket. Now that's impressive parenting, people. Alright, maybe I just lucked out with that one. But... maybe not.
