Liquid Multi Vitamin vs Pill Form

Many of us are faced with taking a handful of pills each morning. Sometimes we wonder if the pills we take have beneficial effects on our systems. This question comes up when we consider the amount of vitamins that we take. Not only do we take specific vitamins for particular benefits, but multi vitamins are usually part of our morning pill routine as well.

Unfortunately many multivitamins pass through our body without being absorbed. This is because the vitamins and minerals are so compacted that they are not easily broken down. If they are not properly broken down, they do not get absorbed. Basically, the pill goes from one end to the other with no beneficial results.

The perfect solution to this dilemma is finding a good liquid multi vitamin. You can test to see if a vitamin breaks down. Put your multivitamin into a glass of water. If the pill doesn't dissolve within several minutes, it will not dissolve properly in your body and will not add any benefits.

The argument that your digestive system is much better at breaking things down than water into smaller parts, is a valid one. The water test is only to show that the vitamins and minerals will not be able to compete with other materials in your digestive system.

Notice that if you put a liquid multi vitamin into water it dissipates rapidly. This illustrates how the liquid multi vitamin works on your system. The effects you get from the liquid vitamins and minerals are practically immediate. Anyone who takes a liquid multi vitamin will tell you that he immediately feels a surge of energy.

Some people may argue that the nearly instant energy is psychological and it seems like this is the prevalent thought. However, how many folks make the same statement about taking a vitamin in pill form? In fact, many people, myself included, complain of nausea after taking the pill form.

There are drawbacks to taking a liquid multi vitamin--the liquid multi vitamin has a relatively short shelf life--though the benefits outweigh this. Although you can keep a bottle of vitamins in pill form for months or even years, the liquid multi vitamin is almost completely absorbed by the body.
